Description
Impressive Burmantofts Faience partie-coloured vase of globular form and tapering neck decorated with persian flowers and foliate decoration in shades of royal blue, turquoise, greens and browns against a cream ground. Impressed and painted marks; “BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE” and “COL NO. 24” with model number “2048”.
Condition Report
Very good – no cracks or restoration. Four tiny chips on the royal blue tubelining at the base of the vase (difficult to spot without magnifying glass).
