A delightful little Arts and Crafts stained oak side chair comprising a central suspended splat with carved lotus flower decoration, an original cane seat standing on turned legs and cross-brace at the front and swept back rear legs.
Condition Report
Very good – minor marks and blemishes consistent with age and use, small & ancient chip to front left edge of seat, 4 invisible cane breaks. Although the chair is structurally sound, the cane-work is delicate and would not be suitable for large or heavy adults but instead would make an ideal child’s or toy display chair.
