Description
A rare and impressive Art Nouveau, silver plated, fruit stand/epergne by WMF (model number 483), comprising a gondola shaped metal serving dish with raised scrollwork decoration and 2 detachable glass liners supporting a column in the form of a maiden. The maiden in turn holds up a large circular dish via a handle with applied shell decoration which in turn supports a trumpet vase with engraved foliate decoration to the collar. Impressed WMF marks.
