Description
A beautiful pair of French Art Deco bookends in the form of French Bulldogs by the French artist Hippolyte Moreau (both signed H.Moreau). These canine caricatures have their original white, butterscotch and black glass eyes in a humorous, cross-eyed orientation. The dogs have a lovely 2-tone, bronzed patination and they sit on a mottled red marble base. Height 11.5cm.
